INTRODUCTION TO CROCHET 

Limited to Ten students

You will learn how to chain and single crochet and make a scarf or dishcloth. During this class you will also learn how to read a yarn label and we will spend time talking about yarn, its various weights and compositions.

Supplies:  We offer 10% off all supplies for class.  We recommend a light colored worsted weight yarn and crochet hook size G, H, or I.

Class Dates and Time:  Weekly on Monday’s from 3:45pm to 5:15pm

Cowl/Scarf Crochet Project

Limited to five students

Student will learn lace crochet.  Skills needed:  Must know how to chain, hdc (half double crochet) and dc (double crochet)

Supplies: 164 yards of worsted weight yarn (we recommend Blue Sky Alpacas's Suri Merino and hook size E & G, 10% off all supplies purchased here for class

 The Baby Series for Advance Crochet – Workshop

Limited to eight students

We will be using a book called “Simple Crochet for Cherished Babies” by Jane Davis for the following three projects.  Choose from one or all three workshops.  SKILLS NEEDED:  Must know all basic crochet stitches and feel comfortable with intermediate stitches

Cost for each three session workshop:  $75 plus supplies

Private Crochet Lessons

During this class you will learn how to read a yarn label and we will introduce you to several different types of crochet hooks.    We will spend time talking about yarn, its various weights and composition  You will learn how to chain and single crochet and make a scarf or dishcloth. At this point you may choose to move on to more advanced projects.

BASIC CRO-KNIT CLASS 

Maximum of 10 students

Learn how to Cro-knit.  This is an old art introduced to America around 1912, became very popular in the 1970’s and is now re-born.  The finished fabric is a thick and spongy, reversible and has the look of a knitted garter stitch.  It is great for dishcloths, towels, washcloths, scarves, placemats and Afghans.  Skills needed:  you must know how to chain with a crochet hook 

Supplies: 10% off all items purchased for class

                 For Dishcloth – Two skeins of worsted weight cotton yarn in two different colors

                  For Scarf - Two skeins of worsted weight yarn in two different colors

                                          Color in worsted weight. 

                   Size I or J cro-knit hook

CRO-KNIT PLACEMAT PROJECT 

Cro-knit is perfect for placemats.  Stop in shop to see sample placemats.  Skills needed – must have completed basic cro-knit class 

Supplies:  Size I or J cro-knit hook

                  200 yards of worsted weight cotton in two colors

Class Dates:  Tuesday, January 26^th and February 2,  11:00am to 12:30pm

CRO-KNIT AFGHAN WORKSHOP 

This pretty afghan will keep you warm, comfy and cozy (and busy this winter making it).  This is for advanced students who have completed the basic cro-knit class
